Girls Movie Night !

Hi lovelies, today is all about a Girls Night In! I sat down with my sister Isis to talk about how we love to spend our nights in.  Very simple, a good movie, manicures, face mask and ice cream.  We had a longer list of our favorite movies, but here are 15 of what we feel are the best Girls Night Movies!

15. Mamma Mia! (2008)

I promise this is the only Musical you will find here.  We know all the songs to this movie by heart !!!  And well, Meryl Streep is also there so thats enough reason. (Singing Dancing Queen in my head)

14. The Last Song (2010)

As amazing it is to watch a good love story movie, it is more amazing to see the beginning of a real love story.  For those who don't know (I pray baby Jesus you do know!) this is where Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth met and well, the rest is matters of magazines and paparazzi.

13. 10 Things I Hate About You (1999)

This movie is in this list thanks to my sister's boyfriend! We where discussing the movies we liked and he suggested it.  I have no idea why I forgot to add it and that amazing scene of Heath Ledger singing "Can't Take My Eyes Off You".

12. Pretty Woman (1990)

This iconic movie with Julia Roberts is everything !  From the Pretty Woman song that it's going to be stuck in your head to her shopping spree and makeover.  Julia Roberts and Richard Gere are everything in this movie.

11. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005)

Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera, Blake Lively and Amber Tamblyn give life to 4 lifelong best friends that are spending their first summer apart.  Follow the pair of jeans that kept them together that summer along with their personal journey.

10. A Cinderella Story (2004)

I lost count on how many times I've seen this one with my sister.  Probably one of our favorite teen movies.  I've been a big fan of Hillary Duff since her Lizzie McGuire days and add Chad Michael Murray to the movie and well... Cutest teen movie ever!

9. The Vow (2012)

What's best than Channing Tatum in a movie?  A movie based on true events.  Their story is just amazing and inspiring.  This is one of those stories where my favorite Bible passage comes to life; "Love is patient... Always hopes, always persevers". 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

8. Mean Girls (2004)

Admit it, one way or another we all fantasized of doing the Jingle Bell dance with our friends.  Even tho this one is the obvious Chick Flick, it had to be in our list.  So Fetch!

7. Me Before You (2016)

Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin (sigh) <3  I cried like a little girl.  WOW.  More tissues please!  Lou Clark (Emilia) stars working as Will Traynor's (Sam) caregiver.  Will had a normal life before he was paralyzed in an accident. Witness the bond that is formed between them and how their life changed afterwards.

6. The Notebook (2004)

Rachel McAdams & Ryan Gosling poured their hearts and souls into this movie.  Bringing us probably the best love story Nicholas Sparks has ever written and many tears to our night.

5. Sex and the City (2008)

Do I really need to explain this one? Carrie, Louis Vuitton, friends, Mr. Big.  New York, fashion, relationships, sex, drama.  It's not debatable, Sex and the City (1&2) is meant to be in this list.

4. Clueless (1995)

I'm a 90's baby, so this is a must. DOT. No arguments.  But if we need a reason to watch Clueless all over again, here is my answer: "Fashion, darling".  It's no secret 90's trends have made a comeback since last year and if you want to embrace it, take note from the great Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone).

3. Bride Wars (2009)

Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson. I love this girls! Have you ever dreamed on getting married and having your BFF by your side all the way?  But now imagine your BFF it's getting married on the same day as you. Welcome to Bride Wars !

2. A Walk to Remember (2002)

Before The Fault in Our Stars existed, Novelist Nicholas Sparks was already breaking our hearts. This was the very first Love Story I saw.  Probably was 12 or 13 years and I remember one of my aunts had it on DVD and felled in love with the story and Nicholas Sparks novels ever since.  Jamie Sullivan (Mandy Moore) is the Reverends daughter and Landon Carter (Shane West) is of course High School's hottie and bad boy.  This is the purest and most innocent love story I've ever seen on a Big Screen.  Just make sure to have your Kleenex near, okay?

1. The Devil Wears Prada (2006)

Well, obviously and of course this was going to be my #1 Chick Flick.  Everyone that knows me, knows I love this movie with every bone in my body! (And everything that involves Meryl Streep) Actually seeing it right now, writing this. This is my favorite Fashion movie. Andy Sacks (Anne Hathaway) is this non-fashion girl that lands a job that "A million girls will kill for" as Miranda Priestly's Assistant (Meryl Streep),  Streep plays the Editor in Chief of Runway Magazine; in my opinion, one of the bests characters she has portrait.
